Pharmaceuticals company Amarin Corp. announced the appointment of Jonathan Provoost as executive vice president, chief legal and compliance officer, effective Nov. 15.

With more than 20 years of corporate legal experience, Provoost most recently served as vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Tris Pharma.

Prior to that, he was general counsel for business development and licensing at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Earlier, he served in various legal roles for other pharmaceutical companies, including Ikaria, Kos Pharmaceuticals, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
