The board of directors of Apollo Investment Corp. appointed Isabelle Gold as chief compliance officer, the company announced in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Gold’s appointment is effective as of Jan. 1, 2020.

Gold joined Apollo Global Management, an affiliate of the company’s investment adviser, in 2016 as senior compliance officer. Prior to joining Apollo, Gold was counsel in the Litigation Group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, where she represented investment management firms and individuals in relation to civil litigation, regulatory investigations, and enforcement proceedings.
