Home medical equipment and supply company Apria has appointed Christopher Lee to the newly created position of chief accounting officer.

Lee, who has 18 years of accounting and leadership experience, will report to Chief Financial Officer Debra Morris. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of Apria’s accounting function, including financial reporting, controls, and operations. He will also continue to lead the development, implementation, and management of enterprise-wide practices, systems, and internal controls.

Lee joined Apria in February 2009 and has risen internally to his most recent role as senior vice president, accounting and finance. Prior to joining Apria, Lee was with Deloitte & Touche.
