AutoCruitment, a digital patient recruitment company serving clinical researchers, announced the appointment of Kathy Twiddy as general counsel and chief compliance officer.

Twiddy joins AutoCruitment from ChannelAdvisor, where she served as general counsel of the global e-commerce software-as-a-service company.

She previously served as U.S. general counsel for Mayne Pharma, partner at law firm K&L Gates; and vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of LipoScience. She also served as chief legal officer, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary at M*Modal.

Earlier in her career, she held senior legal executive roles with Quintiles Transnational Corp., Misys, and IBM Corporation.
