Nonprofit healthcare company Care New England announced the appointment of Kevin Martins as chief diversity officer.

Martins brings more than eight years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at Bryant University. He held titles of increasing responsibility, including assistant director of the PwC center for diversity and inclusion, special assistant to the director of inclusive excellence, and assistant vice president for DEI, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He also previously worked as a student conduct coordinator at the University of Rhode Island for more than four years assisting in student life programs.
