Comerica Bank announced the appointment of Kristina Janssens as senior vice president, chief compliance officer.

Janssens will lead Comerica’s enterprise-wide compliance program and report to Susan Joseph, executive vice president, financial intelligence and corporate compliance director.

Prior to this, Janssens spent nearly a decade with Flagstar Bank, where she served in roles such as executive vice president, chief compliance and privacy officer, and deputy general counsel. Earlier, in her private practice, she provided banks and financial institutions guidance on regulatory compliance matters.
