Clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Connect Biopharma Holdings Limited has named Jiang Bian general counsel and chief compliance officer.

Bian will oversee Connect Biopharma’s legal function and report to CEO and Co-Founder Dr. Zheng Wei. He joins the company from Guardant Health, where he served as senior counsel.

Prior to that, Bian was with law firm Shartsis Friese, where he focused on corporate and technology licensing areas of legal advisory. Other previously held positions included senior counsel at Pieris Pharmaceuticals.
