Public accounting, consulting, and technology firm Crowe announced the promotion of Rachael Gibson to chief diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) officer.

Gibson joined Crowe as deputy chief – firmwide leader of DEI in September. She will continue to work alongside leadership to steer metrics-based accountability and foster an inclusive work environment. As chief DEI officer, she will drive an innovative and programmatic agenda to support a culture of inclusion in line with the firm’s vision and strategy.

Previously, Gibson served for more than eight years as director of DEI with accounting firm Marcum, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Gibson succeeds Sheila Enriquez, who will remain as the firm’s Texas market leader.
