Delta Air Lines announced Amelia DeLuca will return to its global sustainability team as chief sustainability officer, effective Aug. 1.

DeLuca will succeed Pam Fletcher, who decided to step away from the role. DeLuca will lead the airline on its journey to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.

She currently leads cross-divisional efforts for Delta’s alliances team. She also supports development of Delta’s partner sustainability strategy. Before joining the alliances team, DeLuca led Delta’s enterprise-wide sustainability efforts.
