The Walt Disney Company announced Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer Horacio Gutierrez will be its senior executive vice president, chief legal and compliance officer, effective Jan. 1.

Gutierrez will continue to report directly to Chief Executive Robert Iger.

Before joining Disney in February 2022, Gutierrez served as head of global affairs and chief legal officer for Spotify. He was previously Spotify’s general counsel and vice president, business and legal affairs. Prior to that, he was corporate vice president and general counsel for Microsoft.
