Encore Capital Group, an international specialty finance company, has appointed Doris Hektor as managing vice president and chief risk officer.
In this role, she will continue to expand Encore’s global enterprise risk management framework. Hektor will report to the risk committee of the Encore board of directors.
Hektor previously served as Encore’s vice president and chief compliance officer. In that role, which she held since November 2014, Hektor was responsible for overseeing and managing risk and compliance, as well as establishing standards and implementing processes to ensure those systems operated effectively and efficiently. She previously worked for JPMorgan Chase, where she last served as senior vice president and managing director of strategy and development for consumer and community banking compliance.
