The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America announced the appointment of Phil Pescatore as chief ethics and compliance officer.

Pescatore will report to General Counsel Kermitt Brooks.

Previously, Pescatore led compliance for Guardian Life’s individual markets business. Before that, he served as chief risk officer and head of supervision for AXA Advisors. He also held several risk management and leadership roles during his 13-year career at Prudential.
