Tech giant Intel disclosed in a regulatory filing Corporate Vice President and Corporate Secretary Susie Giordano will serve as interim general counsel, effective immediately, with current Executive Vice President and General Counsel Steven Rodgers planning to retire in May.

Giordano joined Intel in 2011 as deputy general counsel. She brings nearly 30 years of experience as a corporate attorney to the interim role after being promoted to managing director, legal - mergers and acquisitions in 2014 and later corporate vice president and corporate secretary in 2017, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Giordano previously served as director of mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments with Sun Microsystems for more than five years.

Rodgers departs the company after 22 years, starting in 2000 as senior litigation counsel when he was ”responsible for patent, antitrust, and other litigation matters,” according to his LinkedIn profile.
