Private equity firm Kain Capital announced the appointment of Bret Cummings as chief financial officer and chief compliance officer.

He will be responsible for all finance-related activities and manage Kain’s compliance program to ensure the firm and its offerings adhere to industry laws and regulations.

Cummings brings more than 30 years of experience in the investment management industry. Previously, he held the same title at Macellum Capital Management. He also previously served as chief financial, operating, and compliance officer at Sage Asset Management.
