The LEGO Group, a family-owned toy company, appointed Annette Stube as chief sustainability officer, effective Jan.1.

Stube will report to Chief Executive Officer Niels Christiansen and be responsible for leading the company’s environmental sustainability vision and strategy and working with operations, product development, and marketing teams to deliver company-wide plans and targets.

She brings more than 25 years of total experience in sustainability with Swedish-Finnish renewable materials company Stora Enso, Maersk as head of sustainability, and Novo Nordisk in senior sustainability roles.
