Lexington Realty Trust appoints chief risk officer

Lexington Realty Trust announced this week key changes to its leadership team, including the appointment of a new chief risk officer and a new chief accounting officer.

The real estate investment trust (REIT) has appointed Patrick Carroll as chief risk officer. Carroll previously served as Lexington’s chief financial officer since 1998 and treasurer since 1999.

Additionally, Lexington appointed Mark Cherone as chief accounting officer (principal accounting officer). Prior to joining Lexington in March 2019, Cherone was corporate controller for Brandywine Realty Trust since 2012.
