Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) announced the appointment of Camille Blackburn as chief compliance officer, subject to regulatory approvals.

Formerly chief compliance officer at Aviva Investors, Blackburn will join LGIM in January 2020, replacing the retired Teresa Poy. Blackburn will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global compliance framework and report to Chief Risk Officer Margaret Ammon, who joins the company in February 2020 from M&G as previously announced.

Blackburn was chair of the Investment Association’s Brexit Committee. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, she was a deputy head, policy and risk at the Central Bank of Ireland.
