Wealth management firm Lido Advisors announced the appointment of Debra Achkire as general counsel.

With more than 25 years of experience, Achkire joins Lido from First Republic Bank—now part of JPMorgan Chase—where she served as vice president and associate general counsel for six years. She also served as a key adviser to JPMorgan on issues surrounding its acquisition of First Republic’s private wealth management platform and the integration of that business.

She was previously an executive director at Morgan Stanley, where she provided expertise in investment adviser and broker-dealer matters, including litigation and regulatory issues.
