Law firm Linklaters has appointed Michael Bennett as general counsel.

While still being available to clients, Bennett’s focus will move toward advising the firm and its senior leadership, along with responsibility for its Legal & Risk function.

He joined Linklaters in 1989 and served as global head of dispute resolution from 2014-21. He has more than 30 years’ experience in managing legal, regulatory, political, and reputational risk in commercially sensitive situations.
