Canadian copper company Marimaca Copper Corp. welcomed Solange González as general counsel and corporate secretary.

González will be based in the company’s Santiago, Chile office.

Prior to joining Marimaca, González served as executive legal manager, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance at the Falabella Group, one of Chile’s largest multinational retail businesses. Earlier, she spent 11 years at law firm Carey.
