Modern Wealth Management announced the hiring of J.P. Rankin as chief compliance and legal officer.

Rankin will oversee and manage the firm’s compliance strategy while also serving as an adviser to its leadership team on legal considerations concerning acquisition activity.

Previously, Rankin was the chief compliance officer at CreativeOne Wealth. He has also held various legal and compliance roles at Advisors Excel, the Office of the Kansas Securities Commissioner, and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
