Motorcar Parts of America, an automotive aftermarket parts manufacturer, announced the promotion of Kamlesh Shah to chief accounting officer. Shah succeeds Kevin Daly, who will serve as vice president, operational accounting—a newly created position.

Shah has served as vice president, corporate controller since 2008, joining the company in 2007 as assistant controller.

In addition, Motorcar Parts of America announced the appointment of Ariel Sulit as assistant vice president, technical accounting—another newly created position that reports to Shah. Sulit’s experience includes technical accounting roles at Verizon, Philips Lighting, Corning, and Alcatel-Lucent Technologies, as well as serving six years as a senior auditor for EY’s office in the Philippines.
