New York Life announced Senior Vice President Sara Badler has been named chief compliance officer, effective Jan. 1, 2020. Badler will report to Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and General Counsel Sheila Davidson.

In this role, Badler will have responsibility for overseeing and managing regulatory compliance across all of New York Life’s businesses.

Badler currently heads all compliance functions for New York Life Investments, and prior to that she served as chief investment counsel for New York Life. She succeeds Barbara McInerney, who will retire at the end of the year after over 20 years of service to New York Life.
