Nordea Bank announced the appointment of Mark Kandborg as chief risk officer and a member of the group leadership team, effective April 1.
He will replace Matthew Elderfield, who decided to return to the United Kingdom after more than five years at Nordea.
Kandborg, current deputy head of Nordea’s Large Corporates & Institutions business area, has worked at the bank for 26 years and held several senior roles, including acting chief financial officer and head of group finance. He has also served as head of treasury and asset and liability management.
