Metal-organic frameworks provider Numat Technologies announced the appointment of Chip Leen as executive vice president, industrials and general counsel.

Most recently, Leen served as managing director, integration and strategy and managing attorney for CMC Materials. Before that, he held various senior business and advisory roles at Aon and was an attorney with Katten Muchin Rosenman.

Prior to corporate life, he served as an officer in the United States Navy, including as the lead navigator of the USS Duluth.
