The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) announced Larry Hattix will take on the additional role of chief risk officer as part of a series of updates to its organizational structure.

Hattix, who currently serves as senior deputy comptroller, will work in a newly merged office combining enterprise risk management and enterprise governance and ombudsman. The changes will be implemented this summer.

Bill Rowe, who was the OCC’s chief risk officer, will retire at the end of July.
