Home diagnostic testing company OraSure Technologies hired Agnieszka Gallagher as its general counsel, chief compliance officer, and secretary. She replaces Jack Jerrett, who held those roles as a senior vice president and is retiring effective Dec. 31 after more than 21 years of service.

Gallagher brings more than two decades of legal and compliance executive leadership experience to the position. Most recently, she served as chief ethics and compliance officer at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on RNAi therapeutics. Prior to that, she was the general counsel, secretary, and chief compliance officer of ViiV Healthcare.

She also served on GSK Vaccines’ executive team as vice president, ethics and compliance officer and earlier led that company’s legal and antitrust work following its $5 billion acquisition of Novartis Vaccines. Before GSK, Gallagher held leadership roles in the legal and compliance functions at Sandoz, Medtronic, and Pfizer.
