Upstart exercise equipment and media company Peloton has appointed Lance Lanciault as senior vice president, head of compliance and risk.

Lanciault assumed the position in February, according to his LinkedIn profile. Bloomberg Law reported the hiring.

Lanciault joins Peloton from Walmart eCommerce, where he served as SVP, chief ethics and compliance officer since November 2017, according to his LinkedIn. Lanciault was first named vice president, chief ethics and compliance officer, U.S. eCommerce and technology in November 2015.

Prior positions for Lanciault include chief legal officer and secretary at StubHub, associate general counsel at General Electric, and senior counsel at eBay.
