Compliance Week has always been focused on helping you do your job better. In the past few months since our acquisition by Verdian Insights, we’ve been proud to expand our efforts to include online community with CW Connect, job boards and resume sharing with CW Careers. These resources add to our existing world-class events including Compliance Week National in April, as well as our summits for Women in Compliance and Third-Party Risk Management in June.

We are excited to share that our resources will be further enhanced with Verdian’s acquisition of the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI)’s membership, training and certification, and advisory programs. The 103-year-old organization just concluded its latest Fellows Program meeting in St. Louis, which included a fireside chat with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. Blanche told the Fellows that the Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi expects American companies to obey the law, will clear away unnecessary and burdensome regulation and oversight, and encourage companies self-report misconduct to the DOJ when they find it.

ECI adds to Verdian’s compliance-focused businesses Verdian’s portfolio now spans six companies offering impactful governance, risk and compliance solutions.

As corporate siblings, Compliance Week and ECI will continue our respective efforts to serve our community of members, readers, delegates and partners. And just as Compliance Week continues to hold events and publish insightful and timely news to help keep you on top of what matters, ECI will continue growing its rigorous research and benchmarking solutions around program effectiveness and improvement.

We look forward to exploring the ways our organizations can support one another as well.

One thing that won’t change is our mission to help you, our community, to learn, grow and succeed. We always welcome your feedback, and please know our inboxes are always open to you.
