Social media company Pinterest announced the impending departure of Chief Accounting Officer Lily Yang, effective Oct. 29.

Yang is leaving to pursue a chief financial officer opportunity with a late-stage private company, Pinterest disclosed in a regulatory filing. Her replacement was not announced.

Yang has served as Pinterest’s chief accounting officer since July 2017, according to her LinkedIn profile. Her previous experiences include a dozen years spent in accounting roles with Gilead Sciences, as well as shorter stints with Medivation (acquired by Pfizer) and General Electric.
