Poly, a communications device manufacturer and formerly Plantronics, announced the appointment of Lisa Bodensteiner as executive vice president, chief legal and compliance officer. Bodensteiner will join the senior executive leadership team run by Poly President and CEO Dave Shull.

Bodensteiner was most recently principal of MDAC, a family-owned real estate company. Prior to that, she was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary and chief compliance officer of SunPower Corp., leading the global, vertically integrated solar business after key executive roles at First Solar and OptiSolar.

Poly also announced the appointment of John Goodwin as senior vice president, public affairs. Goodwin will join Bodensteiner on the leadership team.
