Silverado Senior Living announced the appointment of Kristina Hulsey as vice president of legal and risk and chief compliance officer.

Hulsey joins Silverado with more than a decade of legal experience, mostly in the long-term care and senior housing industry.

Previously, she served as associate general counsel at Ensign Services, where she provided counsel and guidance to its network of more than 200 affiliated long-term care facilities and senior housing communities, according to her company profile. She also served as chief counsel to Ensign’s network of assisted living and senior living communities, handling all claims and risk management issues.

Prior to Ensign, she served as a senior associate at law firm Daily Aljian, in-house counsel at Toshiba America Business Solutions, contract attorney at International Home Exports, and associate at law firm Adorno Yoss Alvarado & Smith, according to her LinkedIn profile.
