Amusement park company Six Flags Entertainment Corp. announced it has eliminated the role of executive vice president, general counsel and chief administrative officer as part of a strategic reorganization under its new CEO.

Laura Doerre will depart the eliminated position, effective Dec. 12, following a transition of her duties. Doerre joined Six Flags as general counsel in March 2020, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Six Flags on Nov. 15 announced the appointment of Selim Bassoul as CEO. Bassoul will lead the company’s recovery from massive revenue drops amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He replaced Michael Spanos, who stepped down after two years in the role.
