Entertainment production company Skydance Media announced the appointment of Stephanie Kyoko McKinnon as general counsel.

Skydance also elevated Jun Oh to president of global business and legal affairs. The moves come on the heels of Skydance’s acquisition of Ilion Studios in Madrid earlier this month. McKinnon and Oh will both report to President and COO Jesse Sisgold.

In this newly created role, McKinnon will provide key legal and strategic guidance on major corporate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, and joint ventures, as well as oversee corporate governance and employment matters for the company. She joins Skydance from VICE Media, where she served as senior vice president, deputy general counsel.

Oh joined Skydance in 2018 as head of theatrical and interactive business & legal affairs.
