Stewart Information Services Corp., a global real estate services company, announced the planned retirement of Chief Compliance Officer John Killea, effective early next year.

Killea, who also served as chief legal officer, joined Stewart in 2000 and has held his dual role since 2011. Elizabeth Giddens will succeed Killea as chief legal officer and serve as deputy chief legal officer to work alongside Killea during his transition.

A spokesman for Stewart noted an announcement regarding Killea’s replacement as chief compliance officer has not yet been made.

Giddens comes to Stewart with nearly 25 years of legal expertise. She most recently worked as senior vice president and general counsel at Integer Holdings Corp., where she led the legal department.
