Virtus Investment Partners, which operates an asset management business, announced Andra Purkalitis has joined as executive vice president, chief legal officer, general counsel, and corporate secretary.

Purkalitis was most recently global chief compliance officer and regulatory counsel at Affinius Capital, a private equity real estate management company. Before that, she was global chief compliance officer and regulatory counsel at Russell Investments.

Earlier, she was regional chief executive officer and chief legal officer at Aviva Investors Americas.
