Payment services giant Visa announced the appointment of Kelly Mahon Tullier to the newly created position of executive vice president, chief legal and administrative officer. Julie Rottenberg, deputy general counsel and chief counsel for North America, was subsequently appointed to succeed Tullier as general counsel and senior vice president.

Tullier will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Al Kelly. Rottenberg will report to Tullier and become a member of Visa’s executive committee.

In her new role, Tullier will continue to oversee legal and compliance while taking on responsibility for global communications and corporate services, which includes corporate real estate, aviation, security, and global events.

Tullier joined Visa in June 2014 as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Previously, she worked at PepsiCo as senior vice president and deputy general counsel and Frito-Lay as vice president and general counsel.

Rottenberg joined Visa in the litigation team 13 years ago. She was previously a partner at law firm Arnold & Porter.
