Z Capital Group announced the promotion of Chief Compliance Officer Erik Kreutzer to general counsel, chief compliance officer, and head of legal.

Kreutzer, who previously served as assistant general counsel, is responsible for supporting legal and compliance matters as well as working jointly with investment and portfolio company management teams.

Previously, Kreutzer was a private equity associate at Goodwin Procter, where he was responsible for advising private equity sponsors, venture capital funds, and others on a variety of transactions not limited to mergers and acquisitions, growth equity investments, financings, and general corporate matters.

Before that, he was a corporate associate at Jones Day, where he focused on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions for public and private companies, private equity transactions, and general corporate governance matters.
