Linda Zecher, president and chief executive officer at global education company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, has joined Hasbro's board of directors as an independent director.

Prior to HMH, Zecher held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Microsoft, ultimately culminating in her appointment as corporate vice president, worldwide public sector. Prior to Microsoft, Zecher served as CEO of software provider Evolve. Prior to that role, she was senior vice president of application suites at Oracle.
