LifeLock, a provider of proactive identity theft protection services, has named Sharon Segev as general counsel and secretary, effective Jan. 11, 2016.

Segev brings more than 15 years of technology-focused experience in various legal and strategic roles. Most recently, she served as vice president, corporate development, general counsel and secretary of Elo Touch Solutions, a company she joined in 2012. In that role, she was in charge of all worldwide legal operations, including strategic transactions, corporate governance, compliance, regulatory issues, employment, finance, intellectual property, commercial transactions, supply chain and litigation, as well as all corporate development initiatives.

Prior to Elo Touch Solutions, she served as vice president, associate general counsel and assistant secretary at Cadence Design Systems, a publicly traded electronic design automation company. During her seven-year tenure at Cadence, she also headed the company’s mergers and acquisitions function and business practices and corporate group within the legal department.

Before joining Cadence, she was an attorney in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she handled a wide range of legal matters for multinational private and public companies. She began her legal career in the law offices of Herzog, Fox & Needham in Tel Aviv, Israel.
