LockPath, a provider of GRC solutions, announced the availability of Keylight 4.7, now featuring the Health and Safety Manager (HSm) application, a new addition to the Keylight Platform’s suite of applications designed to integrate risk management processes across the enterprise. Keylight 4.7 also features new reporting and calculation enhancements.

Keylight’s Health and Safety Manager helps organizations to strengthen workplace safety, encourage workplace safety collaboration, and meet regulatory compliance obligations. Risks identified in HSm can be viewed within the context of an organization’s overall risk posture, providing executives with visibility into the impact on the organization. Health and safety risks and site inspection findings can be correlated with regulatory content to easily identify compliance issues. Policies and procedures can be applied to specific risks for remediation.

Keylight’s Health and Safety Manager provides functionality for the following:

Tracking, investigating, managing, and reporting on accidents, injuries, illnesses and near misses;

Roll-up of injury rates and safety issues by facility or site to measure risk;

Automatic generation of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 300, 300A and 301 incident forms;

Performance of job hazard analyses; and

Management of site inspections, findings, and associated remediation activities.

In addition, LockPath has updated the Keylight Platform to include enhanced reporting with a new patent-pending formula engine and a new job engine for increased collaboration, flexibility and visibility.

As organizations have adopted an integrated risk management (IRM) approach, health and safety management still operates in a silo. Health and safety management tools are often separate from the organization’s IRM or GRC tool, which can hinder how organizations manage risks, compliance and incidents related to health and safety. “For executives, a disjointed approach leads to a lack of visibility into health and safety risk and a need for context into how these risks relate to other organizational risks and compliance requirements,” said LockPath CEO Chris Caldwell. “Our Health and Safety Manager application solves this problem, by integrating health and safety into the organization’s overall GRC and IRM program.”

Connecting health and safety to the overall GRC program provides visibility and leads to a twofold outcome: a more efficient, effective compliance program and a more resilient organization.
