In May 2009, when Twitter was in its infancy, I created a list of "15 People All Securities and Corporate Litigators Should Follow on Twitter." I updated that list here in February 2010, adding and removing a few people as I tried to identify the people and organizations who "consistently add value and are great sources of information and insight for securities and corporate litigators."

I vaguely recall believing back in 2010 that I would continue to update this list on a regular basis but, well, that was over five years ago! However, I recently stumbled upon the 2010 list and was struck by how dramatically some things have changed since I created it.

For example, the first entry on the 2010 list (because it was alphabetical) was @amlawdaily. I explained that this was "The American Lawyer’s feed of daily legal business news and analysis of leading law firms. Reporters such as Alison Frankel, Zach Lowe and Andrew Longstreth consistently deliver some of the best securities litigation-related news."

Five years later, The AmLaw Daily and its Twitter feed no longer even exist, and all three reporters I highlighted have moved on long ago to greener pastures. Whle Frankel is still focused on the securities field in her excellent blog at Reuters, Longstreth now works in Business Intelligence and Competitive Strategy for a major law firm and Zach Lowe is now a leading basketball analyst at Grantland!

Several other feeds included on the 2010 list are also long gone or withering. The Twitter feed of Dominic Jones' IR Web Report (@irwebreport) appears to have tapped out in 2013. The @mainjustice twitter feed covering insider news about the U.S. Department of Justice has tweeted only one time since March 2015. And @myCorporateResource went silent in March 2014.

So out with the old, and in with the new! Here is my alphabetical list of 15 People All Securities and Corporate Litigators Should Follow on Twitter Twitter (2015 Edition). I hope to update this again before the year 2020.
