Welcome to Compliance Week’s “Top Minds in Compliance” podcast—our conversation series with leaders in the compliance field.

This week, columnist Tom Fox chats with David Bunker, compliance officer at Seattle-based nonprofit Vulcan.

Upon joining Vulcan, Bunker assessed numerous threats of conflict of interest among the company’s diverse group of employees. He implemented a new process that allowed the company to better keep tabs on what its employees were doing outside work while allowing them to maintain the freedom to take advantage of other opportunities with a reduced chance for conflict.
