Office Depot announced in a securities filing this month that Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer Michael Rabinovitch informed the company of his decision to resign, effective Feb. 28, 2018.

To ensure a smooth transition, Rabinovitch will continue working closely with Chief Financial Officer Joseph Lower until the departure date, the company said in the Form 8-K.

As Compliance Week reported, Rabinovitch has decided to leave Office Depot to assume the role of senior vice president, chief accounting officer, at Tech Data, a U.S.-based multinational distribution company specializing in IT products and services, effective March 1.
