OGE Energy has appointed Frank Bozich to the company's board of directors and as member of its audit committee, effective with its first regular meeting in 2016. Bozich's term will expire at the company's annual shareholders' meeting scheduled for May 19, 2016, at which time he will stand for re-election by the company's shareholders.

Bozich is president and chief executive officer at the SI Group, a global developer and manufacturer of phenolic resins and chemicals used in the production of antioxidants, engineering plastics, fuels and lubes, rubber, and pharmaceutical ingredients. Prior to joining SI Group in 2013, Bozich held several executive management positions at BASF, including as president of BASF's catalysts division, group vice president of precious and base metal service and group vice president of the integration management office. He previously was group vice president of enterprise technologies and ventures at Engelhard, which BASF acquired in 2006.
