Paint supplies company PPG appointed Anne Foulkes senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective as of Aug. 1. She joins the company’s operating and executive committees, reporting to Michael McGarry, PPG chairman and CEO.

Foulkes, who joined PPG in 1995 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently served as vice president, associate general counsel and secretary at PPG.

In her new role, Foulkes will succeed Glenn Bost, who has announced his intent to retire. Effective Aug. 1, Bost will serve as senior vice president, law, compliance and special projects, to ensure a smooth transition of general counsel responsibilities and oversee certain projects for the company.

New controller

PPG also announced the appointment of William Schaupp as vice president and corporate controller, effective as of July 19. Schaupp has direct responsibility for PPG’s corporate controllership function, including corporate financial accounting and reporting, along with accounting policy and control. He reports directly to Vince Morales, PPG senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Schaupp joined PPG in 2008, originally as manager, financial reporting. Since April 2018, he held the position of assistant controller and acting controller.
