PwC US announced that William Johnston has joined the firm's forensic services business as a managing director in the government contracts practice. He is based in PwC's Atlanta and Washington, D.C. offices.

Johnston will lead efforts primarily in aerospace and defense, with a focus on regulatory and compliance matters. Johnston brings to PwC over 30 years of U.S. government, commercial and international expertise.

Johnston has significant experience in all facets of Government Contract Management. He also has extensive knowledge of Cost Accounting Systems from requirements definitions, indirect rate structures, cost submissions, cost impact preparation, and disclosure statements. Johnston has advised organizations on international issues such as International Trade and Arms Regulation, Buy America, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Prior to joining PwC, Johnston led the Government Contractor Service's national practice at KPMG. Previously, he was the Director of New Business Contracts and Vice President of Finance at Lockheed Martin.
