Rite Aid Corporation month appointed Paul Zikmund as group vice president of risk and controls, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Zikmund joins the drug store chain from Bunge, where he served as director of global ethics and compliance since December 2011. In that role, he was responsible for implementing Bunge’s fraud, ethics, and compliance risk management programs and controls designed to mitigate fraud and misconduct, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and promote adherence to Bunge’s core values, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also managed and conducted investigations of fraud, bribery and corruption, security, and compliance-related matters.

Since 2012, Zikmund also has served as an adjunct professor at Carlow University, where he teaches fraud-related courses; Rider University (since 2003), where he teaches courses on fraud detection and investigations, auditing, business valuation, white-collar crime, and financial statement fraud; and at LaSalle University (since 2007), where he serves as an adjunct professor--fraud and forensic studies.
