Two Brazilian groups, Comando Vermelho (CV) and Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), will be designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) by the U.S. State Department, beginning today. Any person who knowingly engages in financial transactions with the group risks criminal liability.
