Vincente Martinez, chief of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Market Intelligence, is set to depart. Martinez began work at the SEC in 2003 as a staff attorney and senior counsel. He moved into the intelligence division in 2010, as part of a key restructuring of the Commission’s Enforcement Division.

Victor Valdez, managing executive of the SEC’s Enforcement Division, will serve as acting chief of the Market Intelligence division while they search for a successor.
